nature and wildlife photography
I've been on my travels again, this time to Kenya, flying north from Nairobi to Samburu. The reserve is home to The Elephants of Samburu and Elephant Watch. This beautiful camp by the river where I stayed only a few weeks ago has been devastated by the floods coming from the hills and down the Ewaso Ng'iro river. Only a short time ago the land was savaged by drought. Travelling then to Lewa Downs, its beautiful rolling hills and Mount Kenya's snow-capped peaks visible in the distance. It was a delight to see the Black and White Rhino where a successful reintroduction programme has been running. These majestic animals were almost slaughtered to extinction. A big thank you to my Guides for their extensive knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness. The Elephants of Samburu will receive a contribution from every picture sold. Click here to view my gallery.
